Jennifer Tilly's birth took place on the streets of Los Angeles, California on September 16, 1958. The conditions were miserable. Her father sold automobiles, whereas her mother taught the school, and she was not a reliable actress. Jennifer, the second-oldest of her four siblings, was a frequent attendee of theater with her mother. Jennifer was impressed. Jennifer's mother and father split at the age five. Jennifer was a part of her life living in British Columbia when her mother relocated there with her four children. Jennifer did not consider herself a studious person however, she was an artist when she was a child. As a child Jennifer was frequently being the target of bullies in Canadian schools. When she was in high school, her love for theatre began to fade. To combat this, her mom helped her to be an extra in a variety of productions. The influence of her mother was to inspire all the youngsters in her household to develop a passion for and interest for arts. Then she began acting.
