Kellie Martin, she is an American actress and filmmaker best known as Christy Huddleston in the period drama 'Christy", Rebecca Thatcher on the show about family Life Goes On> and Lucy Knight for the medical drama ER. Her other notable roles include appearing in the titular role in the 'Hailey Dean Mystery' series. Martin started her acting career when she was just seven. Her aunt, who was the nanny of Michael Landon's kids, helped her land a small role on the TV show Father Murphy. When she graduated from Yale University she began to become serious about acting and landed roles on the small screen and big. Apart from being an actor, Martin is an accomplished photographer, as well as a dancer. Two-time mother, she is the national spokesperson for Lupus and is constantly raising awareness about the condition following the death of her sister from it at the age of 19.
